The joy of being three (and a half)


Zach found this dagonfly in the swimming pool. As I watched from a distance he examined it carefully, then picked it up behind the wings and it became at once alive again, swooping through the sky from left to right, up and down, backwards and forwards. Zach was a study in concentration. I walked up to him and asked “What is it, Zach? A plane? An alien spaceship”. “No Dad, it’s a dead dragonfly”
